Business Development: Merchant Signups
Responsibilities
- Reach out to the universe of merchants and sign them up for BatteryBhai.com.
- Source product catalogues of these merchants and ensure availability of a wide variety of products.
- Work closely with the IT team to get the catalogues live on the marketplace.
- Be the single point of contact for all existing and new merchants who want to sell on the platform.
- Generate market information, and bring in regional expertise in sourcing.
Requirements
- A business development mindset and strong operational co-ordination.
- Good negotiation and convincing skills are a must.
- Capability to keep the sellers engaged on live catalogues.
- Must have an aggressive approach to driving business.
- Attention to detail and comfort of working in a start up business environment
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- A keen sense of the market and its trends.
- Hands on experience in channel sales, partner management & new business development would be a plus
- Process oriented, self-motivated, team worker
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel
